Chinese or Persian Vase?

    I don't think that it is Persian. It looks Chinese to me.

    Funny isn't it. That one looks identical pattern wise but the crackle is completely different. Still feel that one is English so maybe both are!

    Too bad neither is properly marked:D. Even though the crackle is so pronounced it's possible it's from rough treatment in it's life. Crazing can get pretty extreme from hot/cold and staining.

    When I first saw it I wondered if it might be something like Petrus Regout (Dutch). They used hand embellished transfer patterns and were fond of that brown/yellow border edge.
