Chinese porcelain vase- opinions and character translation?

    Hello!

    Any info on this small vase would be greatly appreciated!

    It just seems a little nicer than average so wanted to get opinions- the porcelain is extremely light weight and delicate. Painting is beautiful but above the glaze which personally I thought was a bad sign as to quality? Mark to base and characters on rear.

    You can see on gotheborg.com that it says Qianlong Nian Zhi. Click on Chinese marks on the left menu. This would be late 20th century, I think.
