Hello, I just got this 14” tall blue and white porcelain vase from an estate sale, and I was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar? I’m not too familiar with Asian porcelain but I love this piece IMG_7648.jpeg IMG_7649.jpeg IMG_7650.jpeg IMG_7651.jpeg IMG_7652.jpeg

the base rim looks stained as opposed to having real age

I think this shape is usually referred to as 'garlic' or 'garlic head' shape. Nice piece. I would guess Chinese but wouldn't be 100% sure.

I'm not sure what the tag on the bottom says, but I bet that would be a clue. Wish I could help. but I like the vase a lot. Hope it's a homerun for you!

Is the base (apart from the Foot ring) glazed ?

Sweet. My guess is Chinese and 20th c somewhere. The foot rim doesn't look deliberately aged to me -- maybe kiln dirt.

well that would depend on when it was made.....if as you say (the last 120 years), its either been added to make it look older because its not, or been used alot in a short time frame

A full base shot might help

looks like theres an iron spot ( or an attempt at one ) on the foot rim as well, so a close look would help
