Chinese rosewood Carved Immortal? and Child.

    I think I remember seeing this type of carving before on here but can't remember when. This guy is 10" tall and also the figures including the fish have glass eyes. the figures also have bone teeth.
    sadly there is some damage. he is missing a finger, damage to his hat, And i think he is missing one eye.
    I was just hoping to find the possible age of him and what immortal he might be?

    He's just a version of the fisherman. Good luck piece. Don't thing he's an immortal, just good at catching fish.
    Too bad about the missing eye ..I have a few of these, one Shiwan stoneware, another about the same as this one and an old boxwood one ..but there again I do a lot of fishing and need all the luck I can get!
