CHINESE SCROLL - 81" + 15" MORE EACH SIDE; ONLY DECORATIVE OR SPECIAL?

    I found this last week -it measures 81"(!) + 15" more at the end of each side in different material.
    Does anyone know what it says?
    This isn't just décor, right? Who has a 7ft+ wall to hang it from?
    What is/was it for?

    Not sure what it reads but doesn't appear very old. The black strap in the case appears to be nylon?

    Not sure but I think newer too - but 81" + 30" = 111" or 9ft 3 inches; WHY so big, if not for a parade or special event?
    Right?

    No clue whatsoever. I hope one of the China people chimes in. If it was a copy of a temple or palace inscription, I suppose it could be that big. The presentation (box and all) suggests that it isn't something mundane or utilitarian.
