I was hoping to get some information on this tea set. I bought it 30+ years ago and it’s been boxed up. It has some tarnish/oxidation. It tests at coin silver but there is no silver mark. I found a few similar sets (Chinese Export) but they had maker’s marks and also sterling. This is unmarked basically. IMG_0271.jpeg IMG_0271.jpeg IMG_0259.jpeg
There are 3 pieces: teapot, sugar and creamer. The sugar and lid are both impressed/stamped “48” and the teapot and its lid are both stamped “55” on their bases. The creamer base is unmarked. The teapot is approximately 5.5” tall and 8.5” handle to spout. There is a raised magnolia design. Age? Origin? Any helpful recommendations to sell? Thanks
