    Bought this (height: 10cm), with the seller saying it's Chinese, me thinking it's Indian, and an Etsy seller, with a fairly similar item (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1184879928), saying it's Togolese

    looks like it's decorated with Akan gold weight designs...... I say African !!

    The circular design at the top reminded me of this dhokra bowl

    That's why I thought it would be Indian.

    I agree with komo on this one - most likely Akan/Ashanti/Asante, from Ghana. Such lidded containers are called "kuduo".
