Featured Chinese vase: interesting or nuthin'?

    There's no mark on this, and I'm thinking it's nothing, but I also liked the shape, thought it looked proportional and 'correct,' so I bought it at the Goodwill.

    It's a mass-produced 'nothing,' right?

    i personally think better than nothing
    like you said a nice elegant shape, and quality there
    and thats theorizing on a blank canvas ;)

    Virtually impossible to judge without seeing it but it looks good quality.

    It really is a blank canvas--- there's nothing distinguishing, no 'clues' beyond its immediate appearance.

    Beautiful form and it’s worth having in your home. Based on my little knowledge of Chinese foot rims this looks modern and not trying to be old. The porcelain would probably be a lot whiter if it was “something”, unless that creamier type color is the glaze and not the porcelain. Also doesn’t look old overall I don’t think? The lighting makes the surface a bit hard to read.
