Christian Maria and child (sedes sapientiae)

    Hello,

    I got this wooden maria and child, in polychrome colors. But I'm really wondering what the history of this item is and which century. I hope you can help me!

    It looks Indian or SE Asian, made by someone more used to carving Buddahs.

    Any provenance for it would probably be helpful.

    Not old. It's 20th century and probably the second half. It's not even really made to look old.

    I vaguely remember those. Polychrome Madonna and Child. As I remember, made in Spain. 1960s-1970s.
