These ‘Violet’ earrings are by JAR — jeweller Joel Arthur Rosenthal, who left his native New York for Paris in 1977 to set up shop in the Place Vendôme. Strikingly naturalistic with their organic petal shapes and vivid colour, they are made of white gold and aluminium

    Estimate: $2,000-3,000
    until 10 February, Online

Alberto Magnelli became famous as an exponent of Concrete art, a form of abstraction that emphatically resisted representation — which makes this still life from 1912 all the more fascinating. Although he would later abandon the depiction of objects, the artist conveys their simple beauty and immediacy with exceptional skill

    Estimate: €30,000-50,000
    until 10 February, Online

Made in Switzerland, this walnut-wood bench is a powerful yet playful piece. A pair of standing bears, with roaring red-painted mouths and glass eyes, hold up the seat, while another two decorate the backrest. A carved tree trunk, boughs and pine cones complete the woodland look

    Estimate: £6,000-8,000
    until 25 February, Online

This terracotta sculpture from Veracruz in Mexico, dating from around 550-950 AD, depicts a person of considerable importance. The wide stance gives the figure an imposing air, and the wide belt, ring-shaped headdress, tubular ear ornaments and thickly coiled necklace all indicate high status

    Estimate: €15,000-20,000
    9 February, Paris

correct for that price if it's the original paint and of good provenance. in Switzerland used ones and "weathered" are available for 500 to 1000; no interest around anymore.
simply watch out to have it evaluated by a serious guy and not those AR clowns that would call it Black Forest.

Very nice new-made ones were imported from somewhere about 25 years ago and I bought one for about $400. Still have it but it is mostly hidden by other “treasures” stacked on top.
