It is about 3 inches high.
I have an email from the French Line museum saying the emblem is from Ship named Paris commissioned in 1921. From what I read, this ship was struck and burned in 1939.
    It has a Puegot grinder.
There is some wear to the plating in back. There is also a dig in front below emblem.

    Thanks for reading.

    Hi,
I had this posted in the Sell Forum, but then I changed my mind. I am trying to catalog some things. Can anyone find a comparable Sold? Thank you for looking.

It doesn't show when I click on the link. The Normandie is a bigger name than the Paris, but I don't know how that affects the value. The Paris was also lost in a fire.

It is a different model though.

Looking at the asking prices for your model, a lot of them are in the same range, even if they are for a lesser known hotel. So the asking prices could be based on the fact that it is Christofle, which is known for quality silverplate.

Thank you, I'll make an average of the prices.

I would think that you could get about 150-200 or thereabouts since it's a cross collectible. Ship stuff collectors as well as Silver/Christofle collectors. I noticed that those other listings had really polished theirs to a high shine. That always helps. Do you think a former passenger appropriated it? Someone's souvenir. I read your link and it seems like the Paris had a hard life, she was certainly accident prone. Recounting the number of times she was run aground suggested a drunk captain.

That's about the price I was figuring. Not sure how it was obtained. I bought it at a yard sale for $2. The ship did have a tough go of it.
