CHRISTOFLE Spoon ID Help

Found this nifty looking Christofle spoon at my mother's house. Measures 7 14 inches long. Is it plate or sterling? And what of that odd end piece? I want to use that to make pretty patterns in cookie dough!

 

Iced tea spoon with muddler. Yours appear to be older than these. Christofle is silver-plate by definition.

Vitry, can we see a better photo of the mark in the "diamond" shaped cartouche?

 

Thank you for the (gentle) correction. I erroneously considered Christofle to be solely a manufacturer of silver-plate but that is not so and doesn't reflect the company's history. And, those iced tea spoons certainly look to be silver, not plated.

Had a lot going on in my life when this was posted four years ago, so didn't see it, but since it's been brought back up - the lozenge or square on point mark is unclear to me, Christofle and the the other firms they were associated with didn't always follow the regulations, but if silver would expect to see the marks, including a Minerva, in the bowl (the French also regulated the placement of marks).
