Featured Church? donation box

Hi folks

can anyone give me any info on this donation box, i'm presuming it had to come from a church by the little round crosses on the side handles ( i think thats what they are anyway)

thinking perhaps oak ?, any idea of an age ?

i find boxes a nightmare to photo for an ebay gallery pic, trying to get all the details in 1 pic

any thoughts appreciated

i always thought they were, used to have a church chair with a big one on the back rest. bit like this (the cross anyway )

 

Very sweet, and I'm with the others, a regular moneybox, not for church donations.
