Cinnabar Box

    Bought a round Cinnabar and brass box. Stands 2" tall and measures 3 1/2" across the top. 7/8" deep. Nicely carved. Would anyone know age?

    The blue enamels are typical of post war production, anywhere from the 50's onwards, but perhaps more likely from the 70's. This would also suggest it's probably resin and not true cinnabar (which is pretty toxic and generally no longer used in the post war period).
