Civil War? Snare Drum

    found in Savannah. I'm assuming civil war period. Is there anything here that may suggest earlier?

    I assume there is no label or marks or hardware anywhere? How big is it? You have two snare wires on the top but I can’t see how they’re attached. Pretty shallow to have been used as a field drum. Could be homemade.
