How can I verify that this is a true 1929 lobby display? Any help would be greatly appreciated. bow1.jpg bow2.jpg bow3.jpg bow4.jpg bow5.jpg

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Is the last photo what is printed on the back of the paper? THIS PAPER / MANUFACTURED / BY KODAK

That looks very modern to me, if so. According to a couple of sites I found it appears that was printed on the back of Kodak papers from the 1970s-1980s (or possibly until the 1990s). Here are the links.

I would not rely on these as a definitive answer, though. Do more searching on this.

By the way, the movie Hula was released in 1927, not 1929, according to IMDb and other sites:

David "Cycleback" Rudd's information is authoritative.

Too bad it's modern. I've always had an affinity for Clara Bow and the whole 1920's flapper era women in general.

That's true, regardless, it is hard to find.

I would think original lobby cards from that era would all be black and white, without color added?
