Ok...clearly little bored (during lockdown) as I continue digging through some of my fleamarket finds. I pick this oil on wood board number of years ago for practically nothing in a old gold gilt frame. I decided to take it out of the frame and give it look for a signature...which I failed. The painting appears to be quite old and in rough condition. What do you do with something like this? Is it worth giving it to somebody to touch up? Maybe a student artist or do I throw it back on the shelf?
If you could determine the location/setting of the painting, that might make it neat for someone to have, but there sure aren't many clues huh.
It looks to be maybe a scene from Asia based on the attire of the man and maybe the cows? Looks to have quite a few years behind it...
Didn't we see an image like or similar to this one a while back, maybe about 4 months ago???? Maybe those who help with paintings the most????
