Cloak clasp and chain?

    What maybe a cloak clasps and a chain, I can see it in my mind?

    had to post a couple of photos because of size issues

    Agree, cardigan brooches. Cloak clasps would be sewn on the cloak.

    Because of the weight. Cloaks are typically heavy.

    Sweater guards were in for a while as mask holders. They still work well on those dumb cardigans with no buttons.
