Cloisonne Perfume? scent bottle? Old? New?

    Hello everyone,
    I picked this up at my local thrift this morning.
    Measures a whopping 2" x 1" x 1/2 "
    Screw top with two loops for hanging from a necklace maybe?
    There are no markings on it and the brass looks newer or has been cleaned. peonies i think.
    Any thoughts appreciated as always.

    If it was a perfume it would have had a dauber at some point attached to the inside of the cap. The ring could have held a small chain with a ring to attach to a chatelaine.

    Chinese, nice quality cloisonné, latter part of the 20th century. Made to look like a Chinese snuff bottle.
    Just meant to be a very pretty item/piece of jewellery, you can also find these on long necklaces.
