I purchased a couple of cold painted bronze pieces for $400. I can associate one of the pieces with franz bergman, retailed by altman but I am not having any luck with the second piece. It looks like a bergman piece but the stamp does not match up.

    Any ideas?

Looks like someone touched up the rug on the 2nd piece, wich I think might be a newer piece.Wich has the bottom in the 3rd pic?

Sorry. The first three photo go together. I am not sure that the piece was touched up on the bottom. The one photo shows the paint is continuous.

Well done, sir! Thank you. Likely not as desireable as the bergman, I assume.

Holy cow. I have a Bergman - Arab smoking a pipe sitting on a rug. It was my mother's. It's sitting in the back of my son's display case. I never would have imagined the value! I might take it back and sell it.
