Has anyone heard of the artist of this painting - Rivas Navas?
Is this a Columbian painting (a friend said he thought it was)?
Any thoughts on it?
Finally; please tell me it is not a factory painting?

The 1994 work the stamp is based upon 'Lady Embroidering' is a stronger work than yours. And yes, would likely be more valuable. The only work of his I can find on offer is this one and it was on offer in November for $2,000 US$. Given subject, I would assume yours was more desirable.
