I found this today at a local thrift store & almost didn't buy it because of the $49.95 price tag. But 2 different women stopped me to tell me how much they liked it and I started to wonder if it was a good buy?
Any thoughts on it would be greatly appreciated - especially; is it a good painting?
It's signed P.S. or P.J. Seiden but I couldn't find anyone with that name.
    Thanks in advance!

my thoughts are the same as always. Take a few days off from the thrift shops and visit a few art museums. That being said, this is better than many of your impulse purchases.

My guess is unknown artist copying another artist work/style

It's certainly eye catching. And very of its period.

It reminds me of a painting I have of a bare breasted young woman done by a friend as an art student.
