Confirmation - Viking Epic Compote

Happy New Year !

I think this is a Viking Epic Compote. It Measures 8" High. The reasons for my uncertainty is that the bowl is textured and the shape of the points. Is it Viking?

 

I don't want to take your post off topic (though my post will bring it back to the top), but I was just musing on the fact that when I read your title I assumed it was about a piece of glass.................a few years ago I would have thought it was about a GRAND piece of Norse history..............

Of course, that is almost meaningless, except to prove that I HAVE absorbed SOMETHING from "antique" forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
