I have had these for years. I bought them because the color was a color you don't see to often, and the stem was really interesting. I figured out they are Lotus Glastonbury stem No. 80 .....Listed as manufactured by them. However I have also been told that Lotus never made their own glass and just cut designs in other companies glass. On Replacements they are listed as LG no. 80(I only found clear), but they all had cuttings.
Can anybody offer any clarification? Did Lotus Manufacture anything? If not who's are these? Thanks in Advance! 001 (522x600).jpg 003 (519x600).jpg

I just skimmed the History section of Dean Six's book on Lotus, and he indicates that they never produced glass.

Thank you msgood2shoe. Makes me wonder why it is identified as lotus #80 but has no cutting on it.

Looking at the stem id book from replacements I believe the 80 is the designation of the blank and should be followed by a number to show the decoration. Sometimes replacements is off for their own reasons. The 80 may not pretain to the glass makers id in any way.

Thank you George. So basically , Blank 80, Is the Lotus Designation for this blank, and we don't know who manufactured the blank. Since this blank was never cut or decorated, it has nothing to do with Lotus.....am I following correctly?
