Has a moderately thick base. Any ideas on origin / age / use? Has some age wear on the base where it rests. Flared opening. About 9" tall and 5" in diameter at the base.

I think it's a decanter missing its stopper.

It's missing the numbers but reminds me of a laboratory flask.

It had a tall pointed conical stopper if that helps.
