Definitely Jandi Small.

 

I LIKE that. It's newer than my usual, but it's really attractive.

 

Back when she thought she could be a real artist, now she sticks to dogs, ponies and children(commisioned portrets, cause she's got to eat too), oh, the fate of many talented artists.... (I am taking a stab at myself here too, but at least she doesn't give up entirely... )

 

I really like this piece!!...At first I though it was a painted over photo??...There is a real "softness" to her detail...I read that she spent time in Paris,where this was probably painted...What does the title "Le Mouce ??) refer too??

 

Most artists end up doing that, if they manage to find a way to make a living with a brush.

 

If I were guessing, I'd say it was painted in a shopping mall in Florida.(LOL) That's where she lives.

 

I think it says "Le Monde" (the World)a french newspaper, what they are reading there, I guess...
