Cool clip on earrings - Czech?

    I got these with the blue glass Czech necklace and the amber glass bracelet. They're pretty cool. I've never seen clips like these.
    What looks like black is actually dark blue.
    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Do you mean this style of clip is 1940s? What country? I've never seen one like this before....

    I've seen them here, and own some. Yes, the style of that clip back is 1940s. Never quite pinned them down, but probably UK/European.
