Featured Cool Real Photo Postcard - Fredericktown, Ohio Main Street Scene

    Hello Folks,

    I recently purchased this RPPC from an antique mall dealer and really love the scene and all of the detail it encompasses. It has a 1909 postmark and was sent to Lexington, Ohio from Fredericktown, Ohio. A few of the handsome buildings shown in this card are still standing in the towns central business district but the majority are gone along with the water tower dominating the background.

    Sweet! I love old photos like this. "Hardware Drugs." The precursor to the modern day mega-drugstores...just that the hardware was much better.

    I bet the drugs were better, too!

    Maaaan, look at that line-up of telephone poles!!!! Or just electricity poles....whichever!!! GREAT Photo!!:)
