Copper and brass sailboat clock - style of work?

    Very cool copper and brass sailboat clock on a quartz base. Does anyone know what this kind of metalwork/style of art is called?

    Approx 18” tall and 17” wide.

    Looks like torch/flame patina and may be a hobbyist piece.

    I've seen these for sale as tourist pieces, usually made from recycled materials.

    I always think of C Jere as the "inspiration" behind such stuff, but I'm not sure that's fair to anyone.
