    Looking at Aquitaine's enhancement, I think the groom's surname was Acton, not Seton. Unfortunately there are no other obvious uses of either capital A or capital S, so that may be wrong.

    Yup - William E Acton Jr married Allene Baker in NYC, 18 Jun 1918.

    Well, her father's name was Barnabus Baker, so that's part of it. The whole thing is in the usual format of a wedding invitation. Why it's "in reverse" I'm not sure.

    Looking at the second line, I think it's a "wedding announcement" rather than an invitation. Sent out after the fact to people who weren't invited.

    Hi,
    It was the original copper plate for printing the invitations. Someone had bent into a bowl. That is why it is inverted. I had a friend whose father was a printer and that was something that he did with the old printing plates.
