Copper (?) jug vase

    Any ideas about this piece? I liked its shape and color, but otherwise don't know anything. Thank you as always.

    That is beautiful, and ver' desireable!

    If it's Copper, it's cast. It seems too thick to be spun...or hammered. What are its dimensions, and weight?

    It's about 8" tall and 4.5" wide. Weight? Um, pretty solid feeling, but not unexpectedly heavy. Certainly not thin or light. Thanks for looking.

    Very,very elegant ,if modern Japanese-one of the more elegant post war piece I've seen.If you haven't scoured it top to bottom w/ a loupe-start or keep looking ,for some reason these artisans were diabolically clever at hiding their chop/signature( why ?).One of your treasures i admire the most.
    Maybe Scandinavian ?. Google Lens may be able to nail it's shape/profile.Will post my humble collection of post-war metal/alloy Japanese vases later.
