Copper Pot Questions

Jivvy the research is my favorite

Family piece, not looking to sell or get a value, just looking for thoughts on age, use, origin.

Mr Jivvy side of the family. Likely been in the family since it was new.

The Jivvys are well acquainted with the ibrik-style coffee pot and wonder if this is similar. Or not?

It is beat, but water tight.

Block tinned copper with rolled rim. Seam that's squarish ziggish zaggish (tech terms :bucktooth: ) on bottom and on back below wooden handle.

If you need more pictures, tell me.

Just looks like a very well used sauce/gravy pan to me. My imagination has taken a holiday.

ooh, definitely lots of brandy warmer similarities, but the lack of spout makes me wonder.

Thank you. Concise and precise. :joyful::kiss:

    I'm certain it's a possibility.

Brandy warmer is in the lead for the moment, though. :joyful:
