I am looking to find out more information about this copper vase
It is 11 inches tall and about 4 inches in diameter.

Can't see the mark well enough in the pic but may be the Imperial Russian mark.

I think I see clearly in that batch of small letters under the mark, a Russian "L". Need a closer and clearer pic.

It is not the exact lettering. This is a good picture of the mark even though it is not the one on the vase. I couldn't get a clear picture so I found one. It's like фAbBh?

I looked under Russian Imperial copper as @verybrad info and found the last part is Tula?

Does that mean it was insured?

Just a personal ID number in case of theft, much better than a social security number.

But was wondering whether, by implication, it was marked so personally that way because it was insured?

Think the first letter is an initial only, F. Then a B followed by a character that only makes sense if it is one of the ones eliminated around the time of the revolution, an E. The final letter confuses me (not hard to do), but, F. Betul[a]?

First bit looks like 'Fab.' to me, so have to guess a word related to 'fabricate' & meaning 'made by' or 'factory'.

See anything here that could be the emblem?

Can't imagine you would have your driver's license number engraved on it unless it was valuable & you had reason to hope, if stolen, it wouldn't just be melted down.

    Hi,
Back in the 1960s it was recommended to put your SS# or your drivers license on valuable stuff. It was so if it was stolen it could be recovered. By the 1970s it was forgotten since too much information was given out and too many things were destroyed.

Does this get the writing (allowing for font)?

    фАБ. ВѢтуліо

Would be transliterated Fab. Vetulio, I think. It definitely uses one or more characters that have been out of use for 100 years now.

It's comical to me to see the lame things people marked as valuable items back then

Slight revision. Think there's a space there: ФАБ. ВѢ ТУЛА Question is now what Tula maker does ВѢ stand for?

It may all just mean Made in Tula.
