Featured Coral?

    B15B9802-C774-4C5A-8D00-40C1C049D3A4.jpeg C10A9D50-B177-4645-A343-89C49AB16742.jpeg Is this a type of coral, or synthetic, or otherwise? Came with a little lot of seed necklaces. The clasp I assume is borrowed.

    Yes, antique Mediterranean red coral. This shape of the coral bead is nicknamed hot dog bead.:wideyed: I can't see if the clasp is for one or two rows, but it could be original to the necklace. There may have been another strand.

    Yep, I best one strand broken and someone used the same clasp for a single strand.

    What she said. They're shaped like American traditional dog treats. I suspect the clasp and beads didn't start life together; someone had a broken necklace and a clasp they'd saved from something else, and put the two together.
