cork inside tiny salt shaker

    Is there a trick to getting corks out of salt shakers?

    try bottle nose pliers...or tweezers....

    Stick it with a sewing needle and see if you can get it out far enough to grab.

    When I can't snag one out with needle-nose pliers or a needle, I just break it up with a metal or bamboo skewer and shake out the pieces. Replacement corks can be found in the hardware store, a package of assorted sizes is pretty cheap.
