How much dyou reckon it would cost to have something like these reproduced on the other side to restore the table

Approximately 20cm each at a guess

Hmm, now I’m stuck cause it’s an incredible item but do I need the damage xD

I keep calling it a table because I’d turn it into a kind of Bijouterie if I got it but it was once a window seat. There are three of those outside bits missing and the two top handles

Poor beastie is in a bit of a state, isn't it? Getting that repaired would require hand-carving and likely cost more than a repaired piece is worth.

I agree. It is lovely though. Have you already bought it?

Too bad Kyra doesn't do furniture! I might call this a mess-with-me and reuse the good parts and make something new. Or would have, back when.

Am I understanding correctly? Only one side end is damaged?
    Not the front?

You could remove the other two pieces at the joins. Replace both ends with a single piece of wood stained to match so you don't loose the support.

It would leave it usuable, albeit not original.

I’d did buy it soon after I posted this for £76 . Those two are off the sides but on the back which I don’t have a photo of there is also one missing. So I have 5/8 of them.

Good idea though, I could still do that but have one extra, no idea what I’d do with that :bookworm::nailbiting:
