Costume jewelry? Age? Any help is appreciated

Rough guess - 1950s. The glass beads look Japanese and the necklace design is pure 50s. Exactly where it was assembled is anyone's guess, because the findings look American. Both beads and findings were exported early and often, so... dunno.

 

Looks homemade to me. Like someone put grandma's glass beads with some round ones.

 

It could be a kit piece, but I've seen multiple pieces of similar design.

 

Thank you all very much, i thought maybe the round glass beads might be unique. Love the insight. Think i'll repurpose the blue beads they are really beautiful in the light.
