Could this be a religious item?

    Hi Guys,

    I am hoping that someone can solve this one for me. Can you identify what this piece of silver is, its age and what country it originates from please?

    I don't know why but my feeling is that it could be something to do with religion and the church?

    I forgot to say that it stands at 22 cm tall.

    Hi,
    Usually if a religious piece it would have some symbols to ID it. It looks like a Turkish rose water dispenser. JMHO.

    Thank you for your fast reply and after doing some research you are spot on, thank you. I have spent hours online trying to find out what this was and you solve it in less than an hour ha ha.
