Couple of portraits on wood I bought today.

    The first is a small bowl shape; I think handmade? Writing on the back reads Chinatu, Chih. Doesn't sound Native American but?

    The second on is painted on a 1/2" thick slab 21" tall and 7 1/2" wide.
    Not signed, but there is some writing below the painting I couldn't make out.

    It's "Chinatú, Chih." Chinatú is a town in the Mexican state of Chihuahua which is abbreviated Chih.
