Wait for Judy but I am going to take a guess and say that the middle size one is older or vintage by it's coloring. They all may be, this is not my area tho I always buy them when I find them and sell them.

    They look authentic to me.

    A little abused I'd say.

YOu can find prices on ebay easily enough.

They are expensive to buy new.....even in Sweden, and every gift shop has them. There "ain't no shortage"!

There's not much difference in old/new....except the real antique.

Judy do you put them out for Christmas or display all year long?

Thank you Judy. I have bought and sold a few in the past. But they all had the original stickers on them so wasn't sure.
Pearls I thought the same thing about the one orange one.

They are on display all year round. And the same growing up too.

It wouldn't matter if one was a bit older than the other in this case. There's no major difference between them. Who could tell?

Only the original owner who owned them.

I have over 35........the older ones intermingled with the newer ones. I'd be hard pressed to tell them apart as a collection.

They sell.................as Pearls said.............I keep everyone I find so no money in it for me.

There is a significant difference in the one I posted than the others.

I visited one of the shops that made them years ago in Sweden.

I can't remember which one though.

That is a nice size collection of them Judy. I always try to grab them at sales when I see them and try to find them a new home.

I get a Swedish catalog in the mail that sells Scandi stuff, all new and I love to browse the selections.

I don't blame you. If they are reasonably priced in shops, I buy them. Once in a great while they are offered at an estate/yard sale.

They are offered at the Scandi sales/fairs.....new ones. I have so many now that I only buy when they are in excellent condition and little money.

The new ones can be quite different in looks, and I can't say I'm fond of them.

My granddaughter won a "dala moose" a few years back at the Fair I took her too. It's at my daughter's otherwise I'd post it.

I had never seen one, nor seen once since.

I think it was made by a home crafter.

There are home crafted ones on etsy. A Dala Moose... I will be on the lookout if I ever find one of those unique ones.

I did notice that the bigger they are, the bigger the sales price for the most part. Some of them are really big I love the colorful patterns.

That is true Pearls about the size.

I almost bought a really large one a few years back, and decided it took up too much room. I really haven't been sorry.

It was a few hundred dollars. I'd rather a real antique one for that money, and one that would fit in with the size of my others.

I'm in the process of making them as tree ornaments.

I'll take a photo to show you.

Sorry for the double. I tried to edit it, but was afraid I'd delete them all.

The Mittens are a bit big for the "tree", but I'm in a craft shop and will bring them there to sell.

Judy I love your decorations and your display. So colorful and happy. Your crafts are wonderful. I have not a crafty bone in my body so I am jealous.

Yes that is the catalog I get. It is fun to look thru it.
