    Hi friends,

    This vase is approximately 12" x 8" and 6.5 lbs.
    I'm leaning towards vintage Japanese, especially considering the moriage look of the wings.

    Any help in identifying would be wonderful.

    Thanks in advance for any replies.

    Very elegant, dude. The style is Japanese, but I couldn't say for sure if it is Japanese made.
    @Ce BCA ?:)

    Can't say for sure either, but the base does look more Japanese than Chinese to me.

    The materials looks like earthenware commonly used in Satsuma. As other posters have said it is likely Japanese then it is possibly a satsuma vase. It is very well painted, and the brown backgropund colour is unusual for satsuma, who prefer cobalt blue with at most a cream background. It is well painted.
