    Entirely clueless about this item. Material: Blackwood

    No markings or signature under the base.

    looks like an early cruise ship......but from the material and construction, it makes me think of POW art....

    Thank you Komokwa!.. POW - prisoner of war? that's an interesting thought..shall perhaps look up on that.

    Yes....& I get that vibe .
    The way it's put together......suggests the pieces were cut from crates...or planks....while the bottom is a solid log.

    Not earlier than the 1980s, from the ship design.I'd say hobbyist rather than POW, unless it was made in Gitmo.
