Can anyone help me identify this?
There are no screws, just a few pegs holding it together. Appears to be old (although paint job is new.) CrazyChair.jpg
    Would appreciate your help! :)

Hello and welcome to the board.

Shape and style looks 1940-50s to my eye.
Wing back captain's chair. Part of a dining room set.
    Wait for other opinions.

Thank you. Tried to google that, but no matches. Don't see it as a dining room piece because the legs are only 11". Might think it a child's chair, but the seat is so big it could easily fit a 350+lb person. Very strange chair....

WOW, that's low, normal chair height is aprox 17" from floor to top of seat.

Does it look like the legs might have been cut down?

Mid 20th century 'Early American' - would have had cushions on the back hanging from the posts, a cushioned seat, and usually an awful little short skirt on those short legs, was most likely originally maple or maple finished...

'Cricket Chair' might be a useful search term...

    These are by Tell City:

LOL, fixed it! Must have been reading another thread with a post of yours, easier to type first few letters of member handle as a screen pops up that you can click.

Wow, you guys are awesome, thanks! Do you think it has any value?

Can't add anything more other than to say the value is in the utility, or lack thereof. If this had nice cushions and ready to go, it would be appealing to a certain sector as usable used furniture. As is, very little value.

Pretty sure it originally had some type of springs and webbing in the center of the seat (a good memory foam cushion would probably be just as comfortable), and should mention that these were made at least into the late '70s, early '80s (the first pic I showed was from a 1973 Tell City publication).

Here's another Tell City Chair, a platform rocker from the '70s that sold for $60. on EBTH: https://www.ebth.com/items/3574742-tell-city-andover-maple-wing-back-spring-rocking-chair
