Cross Stamp Outer Band ?

Apologies for the unclear photo, I have a ring with a stamp on the outer band, it's a cross shape, any idea where this is from and what it means?

I see a lozenge shape (outline). If it is, it could be a French maker's mark.

That's a relief.

French maker's marks can have initials, symbols, and possibly numbers. Not purity, that is a separate assay mark.
