The hands and feet are particularly roughly carved - but for some reason she caught my attention and I decided to buy her for a couple of dollars - can anyone tell me the origin/age? I'm assuming probably african? To my still novice eye it seems to have some age on it. The wood looks genuinely patina'd. Also, is she holding a bird up to her chest? About 10" tall.
