CSG Blue Enamel Heart Cross Pin

    Something I dug out of the junk box. 2" h X 1 1/8"w., made of brass with dark blue enameling. Appears to date from around the 40's at the latest I would imagine? Based on other pins I've handled. No back marks or anything. Has 3 nails or spikes at the bottom depicting the spikes used to crucify Jesus I guess. Been posted on other forums with no help. All I can think of is Catholic School Girls for CSG but I can't find anything on internet searches. Verdigris should clean right off. I know it isn't worth much but I hate it when I can't find what something is, regardless of the value. Anybody?

    It's one version of the Sacred Heart symbol, but doesn't help much. College of Saint G? Or, in monogram style, the S is really the final letter & it is CG School? Going to be a tough one, methinks.

    are you sure it comes from the US ? Italian perhaps ? Sacra Chiodatura di Gesù or similar ?
