CURIOUS... DOES ANYONE COLLECT CEREAL BOXES?

I just had to buy these the other day in my grocer's clearance section and I will put the box away.

yes, i have been collecting a few from about 16 years ago i put some sports ones away, when i come across them i will post them

 

Report back in 100 years and tell us how it turned out! Remember condition is everything with items like this.

...or as soon as anything comes along that is tied to them and they take up little room flattened out anyway.

yes it is and i might add that the collecting of boxes extends to many other type boxed such as sports kraft dinners, and other products , which i also have .

 

I also collected, and decorated ,with old board games so even tho they might not have any monetary value, it does have decorator value , i think (outside the box lol )

 

i just looked up "hologram" cereal boxes ( i collect holograms) and there is some new star wars lol i want them .

 

I only collect full boxes, so I can empty them into my bowl.(LOL)

But don't save them that way!
It is perfectly fine to carefully open and empty them.

 

I've never thought of the new ones as ever possibly being worth much; they print too many.

 

Yes though the vast majority of them are pitched out.

 

The ones that might be worth saving are the ones for items that didn't sell, or with famous faces, etc. Most of what I get doesn't qualify.

i brought this one, ( another W.G. , a Dave Fennel football ,2 Elvis , 1 B.J and the Bear, and a Vanilla Ice) posters home from the dump , laying beside a dresser , with a bunch of 1980/81 o-pee-chee hockey cards (lot of good rookies that year )
