Curious Marks on Silverplate (?) Forks

    These forks aren't very remarkable, so feel free to ignore this. But the marks have me curious since I've never seen them before. There appears to be 2 pictorial marks followed by a T, and then it says 8 oz. Next, the initials look like they were for the retailer. All 6 of the forks are marked the same, except some are stamped 4 oz. (not 8) which I think is odd since they are all the same size. Has anyone seen any marks like these before? Can you enlighten me?     I'm thinking Towle. The 8oz indicator is probably for the amount of silver used in the plating (not for a single piece, but for a gross.)

    Bakers, Thank you! I would never have thought Towle. The 8 oz and 4 oz I figured had something to do with the amount of silver used but I've never seen it shown that way. Thanks for the education.
