Featured Cut crystal jug

    I grabbed this on my travels yesterday. 18cm tall and pretty thick. I've googled it and get results for exactly the same shape from Ireland to bohemia. I'm inclined to go with Bohemian looking at the pattern. There is a ground and polished pontil mark on the base.

    All I can say is not American, not quite. The handle could be, but the rest doesn't look like anything we did here.

    Chinoiserie is in the UK, and we rarely get US items here in Europe.;)

    Hm. British shape but I’d have expected a star cut base, and that very intricate cut isn’t typical either. I think bohemian is a better call.
