Cut Glass Decanter

    It is about 7 3/4" tall. The base is polished but the mouth is rough. Wonder if that how it was originally made or maybe the neck was broken and someone cut it off?
    Idea of origin and maker?

    It's etched, not cut and a vase, rather than decanter.

    I agree with owned that it looks like a vase ... but didn't kard identify it correctly as cut (not etched) - as in gray cut or wheel cut?

    I think it is color flashed and copper wheel cut/engraved to clear. It might be color stained. I also think it WAS a decanter that was damaged and cut down. There is the end of a crack showing in the ground lip there in the photo.

    Bohemian, post WWII.

    As is this is....ummmmm.....worthless. Perfect it would be little more. sorry.

    Hey, keep pluggin' away. The Fenton jar was a real hit.
